PARAFFIN BATH FOR HANDS
The paraffin bath is a form of therapy for relieving pain through the heat application of a heat-liquefied wax for cracked and dry hands. The paraffin bath contains heated wax (paraffin) into which the hands are dipped several times for a short time after the pack has been applied. The skin is covered with a pleasantly warm layer of wax. The hands are then wrapped in foil and a towel. An occlusion effect is created and the active ingredients in the pack can be easily absorbed through the skin. The skin becomes soft and supple. After 15-20 minutes, the paraffin is removed again.
